Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide trusted nursing care to patients and clients of Welwitschia Hospital in accordance with the Scope of Practice of an Enrolled Nurse.
- Perform and participate within delegated team and unit.
- Take responsibility for own outputs and standards of care.
- Contribute to a healing and safe environment by upholding Infection Control measures and Health & Safety standards within delegated unit.
Minimum Requirements
- Enrolled Nurse/Midwife Qualification.
- 3 Years’ experience in General Nursing.
- Registered with the Nursing Board of Namibia as an Enrolled Nurse/Midwife.
- Namibian Citizenship or eligible to work in Namibia.
- Disposition towards quality and excellent patient care.
- High energy levels and tolerance for stress.
- Well-developed interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to perform within a team, organise effectively and operate optimally under pressure.
- In-depth medical know-how
Non-Negotiable Competencies
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to naturally liaise with people from all walks of life.
- Ability to work independently within a high-pressure environment.
- Willingness to perform assigned or ad hoc duties as per operationally required.
